When I met my wife’s family many years ago, it was apparent that my father-in-law was the “go to” person when a car needing repairing. With four daughters, my father-in-law liaised with many mechanics over the years. I think he was very glad to welcome me into the family and straight into the job of fixing the family cars. It became clear to me that the family felt that mechanic reliability, honesty and speed had been in short supply.
“The Panic Mechanic” came into creation built upon a good local reputation of honesty and reliability and a stress-free method of vehicle repair. Our mobile service has been a notable winner among many who simply can’t find the time to take their car to a garage.
I earned a lot of experience around the manufacture of microlights. It was a great opportunity to work alongside master builders where man, engine and aerodynamics became one.
Looking back I can appreciate what an amazing childhood I had growing up and learning alongside my father, who created a business building small helicopters. My father taught me all about precision, and it was amazing when a build came to an end and we would see the helicopter take off from our back-yard. That was engineering at it’s best.
